Link History

The Link was first published in January 1974 and has grown steadily in circulation as the village has expanded. Around a thousand copies are currently sold each month. The magazine has always been run voluntarily by a small band of villagers who are responsible for everything; from the production to the distribution.

In early 2007, Peter Finch produced a history of the magazine, which can be viewed by clicking on section headings under the Link History button to the left. Peter, husband of our long-serving Editor Margaret, was involved with the magazine from the start and has always been very supportive and helpful with articles concerning the history of the village.
